AUCKLAND CITY RAIL LINK

An 18-month secondment to the City Rail Link project office as part of the reference design team working across the full CRL network, followed by continued involvement in the enabling works and refurbishment of the historic Chief Post Office at Britomart Station. My primary role focused on the main concourse and historic banking floor design from Concept Stage through to Detailed Design documentation, including consultation with Auckland Transport and the Historic Places Trust, now Heritage New Zealand, to determine appropriate interventions within the Category 1 heritage building while accommodating mass-transit passenger requirements and extensive tunnelling works.
